Bringing BBQ to Art in the Park

Anthony Bourdain, celebrated chef, author, and TV personality once said, “Barbecue may not be the road to world peace, but it's a start.”
Who can ever argue with Bourdain? The fact that barbecue — really good barbecue — takes time, patience, a bit of magic often in the wee hours of the day make it the closest thing we have to true culinary alchemy.
It’s all in the preparation! We began smoking our Tri-Tip and pork days before the Art in the Park event so they would be falling-off-the-bone perfection. Then we brought our BBQ truck on site, and, in addition to serving walk-up customers, we hand-delivered bbq to the artists at their booths! We were met with many happy faces, all covered in Drew’s Southern Style Barbeque sauce!

We were so proud to get this note from our client only half a day into the event.
“Just a quick note, as we are close to mid-day, YOUR FOOD IS PHENOMENAL! We have had patrons come up to our information booth telling us how AMAZING your food is!”
And while we love barbeque in summer, we’d argue that fall is when it truly comes into its own. That’s when the air turns crisp, the leaves begin to rustle, and the comforting scent of red-hot cherry and apple wood smoke lingers. Slow-cooked brisket and ribs sizzle in the background while the yard fills with laughter and the kind of conversations that only happen when people gather with full hearts and full plates.
We are proud to serve handcrafted barbecue made with regionally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Every item on your plate has been handled with care, from our small-batch South Carolina style sauce, Drew’s Brew, to our carefully smoked meats. From the mac ‘n cheese to the cole slaw, we come with all the fixin’s.
Contact us today and we’ll get Beulah fired up for your events this fall!!
